PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a best framework for Project Management, from Axelos. It provides common processes, management products, roles, and language for use throughout an organization’s projects. The PRINCE2® Practitioner course (based on PRINCE2 2017 update) builds on the knowledge that participants have gained in the PRINCE2 Foundation course and focuses on applying and tailoring PRINCE2 for the effective use of the PRINCE2 Project Management methodology in projects
On completing this course, the participants will gain competencies in:
- Master your skills to apply project management in both the private and public sectors.
- Gain the practical knowledge on how to manage projects using the PRINCE2 method.
- Have the required knowledge to attain the PRINCE2® Practitioner certification
To take the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination you must provide a proof of having passed one of the following:
- PRINCE2 Foundation (this must be a 2009 certificate or later)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)*
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)*
- IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
- IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
- IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
- IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)

The purpose of PRINCE2 Practitioner 2017 examination is to assess whether the participant can demonstrate sufficient recall and understanding of the PRINCE2 project management method, as described in the PRINCE2 Practitioner 2017 syllabus.
It is a an open book exam, 150 Minutes with 68 questions MCQ. Passing marks are 38 marks or 55%
