Every Branch Connected Well, Not Just Connected

Branch networks were built around fixed circuits and a central data center, long before most business applications moved to the cloud. Datacipher designs and deploys SD-WAN that routes each application over the right link, brings new sites online in days, and gives you one place to manage every location.

Business Challenges

Circuits Cost More Than They Should
Private circuits carry a premium at every site, and bandwidth upgrades mean renegotiating contracts rather than turning up capacity.
Traffic from a branch to a cloud application is often pulled back to a central data center first, adding latency to the applications people use most.
Opening a branch can stall for weeks while a circuit is provisioned and an engineer travels to configure equipment on site.
When users at a location complain, teams can see that the link is up but not which application is struggling or why.
Secondary connections are paid for continuously but carry no traffic, and failover is often slower and messier than expected.

Our Solution

Datacipher designs SD-WAN around what each of your sites actually runs. We look at the applications in use, how they behave, what connectivity is available at each location, and what the current circuits cost, then decide the right mix of transport site by site rather than applying one blueprint everywhere.

Deployment is staged. We build and validate the design on a small group of sites, then roll out across the estate in planned waves, with existing connectivity in place as a fallback until each location is confirmed stable.

Key Features

Application Aware Path Selection

Traffic is steered by application rather than by destination, so a voice call and a file sync are not treated as the same thing.

Any Transport, One WAN

Private circuits, broadband, and 5G are combined into a single logical network, with each site using whatever mix makes sense for it.

Zero Touch Provisioning

Equipment ships to the site, connects, and pulls its configuration automatically, without sending an engineer to the location.

Local Internet Breakout

Cloud and internet traffic can exit directly at the branch instead of being carried back to a central site first.

Centralised Policy and Visibility

One console for policy, changes, and application level reporting across every location on the network.

Automatic Link Failover

Traffic shifts to a healthy connection on its own when a link degrades or fails, so a site stays online and the event is raised as an alert rather than an outage.

Business Benefits

1

Lower Cost Per Site

Expensive private bandwidth can be reduced where broadband or mobile connectivity carries the same traffic acceptably.

2

Sites Live in Days, Not Weeks

New branches connect as soon as any usable link is available, without waiting on a specific circuit or an engineer visit.

3

Better Experience on Cloud Applications

Direct paths to cloud services remove the detour that slows down the applications people use all day.

4

Outages Users Never Notice

Traffic shifts to a healthy link automatically, so a failed connection becomes an alert rather than an incident.

5

Changes Without Travel

Policy updates apply across every site from one place, which removes most of the reason to visit a location at all.

Solution Architecture

The overlay runs across whatever connectivity each site already has, so existing circuits stay in place during migration and are reduced or retired only once the new design is proven.

Proven Customer
Outcomes

Delivering measurable business results through enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions that improve performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
Case Study

From 20 Hours of Downtime to Under 1 Hour

DDoS attacks were knocking RailTel offline for nearly 20 hours a month. For one of India’s largest telecom providers, that couldn’t continue. Datacipher deployed Corero’s hybrid DDoS protection, phased in with zero disruption. Downtime fell to under an hour, and attacks now get blocked in real time.

Case Study

50% More Capacity, 70% Fewer Complaints

Rising user demand had pushed QTL’s network into constant congestion, dragging down service quality and pushing customer complaints higher every month. Datacipher upgraded the network with Juniper MX Series routers, rolled out in off-peak hours to avoid disruption. It helped lift overall capacity by 50%, and and cutting performance complaints by 70%.

Case Study

80% Fewer Wi-Fi Dropouts

Mahindra & Mahindra’s ageing Wi-Fi couldn’t keep up with a growing number of devices. Staff hit constant dropouts, and productivity slipped. Datacipher moved them to Juniper Mist, an AI-driven wireless network, phased in with minimal downtime. Connectivity issues fell 80%, and speeds rose 30%.

Case Study

A Data Center Move With Zero Downtime

With its lease expiring and its infrastructure past its prime, Technicolor had just six months to move its entire data center without disrupting a global media operation. Datacipher planned and ran the migration in carefully coordinated phases, hitting the deadline with zero unplanned downtime and moving Technicolor onto faster, more reliable infrastructure.

Case Study

60% Fewer Incidents, 35% Faster

BESCOM’s branch offices were running on outdated firewalls. They couldn’t handle modern threats or rising traffic, so security gaps and slowdowns crept in. Datacipher replaced them with Juniper SRX1500 firewalls, migrating every policy in phases. Security incidents fell 60%, and performance improved 35% across sites.

Case Study

20% More Revenue From New Services

Kerala Vision Broadband wanted to launch new, competitive services but was boxed in by its existing network. Datacipher upgraded the infrastructure with Juniper MX Series routers, adding support for advanced offerings like MPLS-based VPNs. The ISP piloted the services, rolled them out, and lifted revenue 20% in six months.

Why Datacipher

650+ Projects, Proven at Scale

A track record of enterprise engagements delivered across industries.

Transport Decided Site by Site

We check what connectivity is actually available and what it costs at each location before deciding what that site should run on.

Built for Rollout, Not Just a Pilot

Designing one branch is straightforward. We plan and run the staged cutover across the whole estate, which is where these projects usually get difficult.

Support That Doesn't End at Go-Live

Continued monitoring and support through our dedicated Network Operations Center.

FAQs

Do we have to remove our private circuits entirely?
No. Most organizations keep private connectivity where it is genuinely needed and move the rest of the traffic onto lower cost links, with the mix decided per site.
Once connectivity of any kind is available at the site, the equipment configures itself on connection, so the network is rarely the thing holding up an opening.
Traffic moves to the remaining links automatically and continues to flow, with the failure raised as an alert rather than an outage.
Either works. We hand over a documented design and train your team, and our Network Operations Center can run it if you would rather not staff for it.
The design accounts for where traffic exits at each site and how it is inspected, and we scope that alongside your current firewall and security policy rather than around it.
